At The Cottage Wild we breed and raise Nigerian Dwarfs. The ND goat is primarily a dairy goat with the highest butter fat content and a hint of sweetness, however with their stout stature we also use them to supply a red meat source. All of the males born unless kept back for breeding are banded so they never develop the “goat smell” and are butchered at an appropriate age giving tender and flavorful meat.
