New Beginnings

On the 27th of September we once again had new life born on this land. I have focused much on the fact that this place is temporary (as many of my unsightly animal shelters would prove) however, much growth and life has been created here in the few years of growing our homestead.

In a 1% chance, I ended up with triplet boys yet again. Same as the year previous! As far as financial gain or purpose for the homestead it’s rather disappointing but, what is never disappointing is baby goat snuggles.

I now have a new journey which I have very little knowledge of, which is finding buyers for not only these new kids, but last years as well. My background in breeding GSDs will come in handy, but I know the process will be low and slow. I care intensely about the type of home these animals find themselves in, and so a vetting process initially causes folks to walk away. Alas, I have decisions to reflect on as time passes on. All of the boys we decide not to keep will either have to be rehomed or butchered for food.
